Happy New Year! We are excited to announce our first event of 2019: Using Behavioral Insights to Enhance Text Messaging Nudges with MDRC’s Center for Applied Behavioral Science (CABS)!

About the event:
Behavioral science research suggests that texts are a powerful message delivery method, but how can we infuse behavioral insights into our text messages to make them the ultimate “nudge?” This interactive session will explore the ways you can apply evidence-based behavioral insights to develop text messages with a greater impact for your outcome of interest. You will have the opportunity to draft your own text messages and get feedback from behavioral scientists. Come with a cause you care about—no experience required!

About MDRC & CABS:
MDRC is a nonprofit, nonpartisan education and social policy research organization committed to finding solutions to reduce poverty and improve the lives of low-income people. MDRC designs promising new interventions, evaluates existing programs using the highest research standards, and provides technical assistance to build better programs and deliver effective interventions at scale.

The Center for Applied Behavioral Science (CABS) is an innovation center within MDRC that combines MDRC's decades of experience tackling social policy issues with insights from behavioral science. CABS takes on pressing problems our partners want to solve and uses behavioral insights, design thinking, and technology to improve the way social programs are designed and services are delivered.
