Consumers spend enormous amounts of money every year on sound. Headphones, speakers, home audio, and more. What these have in common is a strive for quality, encompassing audio that transports the user to the center of the music. However, there's always been a compromise; portability vs immersion. Encircle is a concept speaker that combines portability with immersion for an improved and adaptable experience.
This portable speaker can snap apart and form an array of smaller speakers that sync to the same source. They charge when stacked, and are held together by the charging strap.
Encircle use inductive charging to provide power to the nodes when snapped together. When apart, the base node has a dial that can be used to control the secondary units. The app can be used to locate the separate nodes, as well as to control the source of the sound.
